Lucy, excited for nail day!

Lucy, excited for nail day!

Nail trimming is often a nerve-racking experience for both pets and owners. Many dogs have had scary experiences, or no experience with nail trimming, and can’t understand that we are doing something that benefits them. On top of that, nails come in different sizes, shapes, and colors, making your dog’s nails almost as unique as your dog itself! It takes years of practice to know exactly where to cut and it’s what makes it so difficult to do well, and so easy to mess up!

One of the biggest advantages to mobile nail trimming, is that I can do your dog’s nails not only in my van, but inside on their bed, or outside in your yard or patio. Lucy, pictured above, gets her pedicure on the grass in her front yard. Instead of being left at the vet or groomer, a friend is coming over to see her, and her mom is still right there with her. It’s not only more convenient, but can make a huge difference in how your dog thinks about the experience.

Your dog’s first visit will include a health and behavioral consult to determine if we are a good fit and plan the best course of action based on your dog’s needs. I tailor a plan for your dog’s personality and lifestyle, and take into account their physical limitations, past injuries, and past experiences with nail trimming.
